Sayklly's was started by a Lebanese immigrant named Joseph Sayklly back in 1906. He opened a store on Ludington Street in Escanaba, where he sold some groceries, candy, and homemade ice cream. After Joe passed away his son, Fred Sayklly, took over the business in 1956 and moved the factory to a separate location. Fred's nephew Michael Kobasic began his career in the chocolate business in 1983 when he purchased the business along with his wife Cheryl. Since his purchase he moved the location yet again to a much larger facility and increased sales and productivity. After owning and operating Sayklly's Candies for over three decades the Kobasic's sold the business to the first owner not in the family lineage. Kevin Robitaille purchased the business on October 15, 2014. Kevin has been an active member of the Sayklly's team since he was a young teenager. Owning this business has been a dream of his for many years. Since his purchase, they have continued to supply chocolate lovers with a great quality product that is loved by many!

Sayklly's Candies offers great fundraising opportunities as well as wholesale for retail business opportunities. We have many homemade products available;  bulk chocolates, boxed chocolates, fudge, peanut brittle, taffy, and many specialty novelites for any occasion!! Our
